    I graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 1968 with a Marketing Degree. From 1968 to 1976 I was Chief Appraisal Officer for First Federal Savings. Since 1976 I have been self-employed as Willis Smith & Co. I have held various offices in the Society of Real Estate Appraisers and was President in 1979 and 1986. I have also held various offices in the Institue of Real Estate Appraisers and was President in 1995. I hold a Brokers' license and am a member of the Board of Realtors and was on the Board in 1996 and am a member of the Little Rock Home Builders Association.
